While there may be times where the story lines that move the ten best Korean fighting movies may be a bit thread bare, just keep in mind that the pretense of a story is needed to get us to the ass kicking that muc faster.

At times the mellow drama between characters gets a bit tedious but watching the four of them fight their way out of a massive gang battle is one of many scenes that makes this one of the ten best Korean fighting movies.
  4. “A Dirty Carnival” (2006) A complex story about money, love, family and the complexities of being a career criminal, the scene where two guys with knives tear through dozens of guys with bats is what makes this one of the ten best Korean fighting movies.
  5. “Sunflower” (2006) After a lifetime of bad choices, an ex-con wants nothing more than to live a quiet life with his girl and run their small club. But when his past comes back haunt him it culminates in a cascade of violence that makes it one of the ten best Korean fighting movies.

While the core of the story centers around two Korean solders during the Korean war, there are some excellent fight scenes woven into the sad and heavy story line.

  9. “Spy Girl” (2004) If you like to watch cute girls kicking high and kicking ass then this one of the ten best Korean fighting movies is sure to get your attention. Sent to bring back a rouge agent, a beautiful young North Korean spy has to brave the dangers of the demilitarized zone and the perils of high school to complete her mission.
  10. “Bloody Ties” (2006) Drugs, corrupt cops, fights and unique executions punctuate this one of the ten best Korean fighting movies. After being framed by the drug dealer they were trying to put away two cops team up again for revenge and a healthy dose of ass kicking.
