10 Best Korean Action Movies


Delight in the sight of evil gangsters and a bounty of kick ass with the ten best Korea fighting movies. The ten best Korean fighting movies show us how amazing the human body can be with the combination sweet martial arts skills and brilliant special effects. While there may be times where the story lines that move the ten best Korean fighting movies may be a bit thread bare, just keep in mind that the pretense of a story is needed to get us to the ass kicking that muc faster.

  3. “Friend” (2001) The story of four very different best friends who grow up together and drift apart only to find themselves rivals in the Korean underworld. At times the mellow drama between characters gets a bit tedious but watching the four of them fight their way out of a massive gang battle is one of many scenes that makes this one of the ten best Korean fighting movies.
  4. “A Dirty Carnival” (2006) A complex story about money, love, family and the complexities of being a career criminal, the scene where two guys with knives tear through dozens of guys with bats is what makes this one of the ten best Korean fighting movies.
  5. “Sunflower” (2006) After a lifetime of bad choices, an ex-con wants nothing more than to live a quiet life with his girl and run their small club. But when his past comes back haunt him it culminates in a cascade of violence that makes it one of the ten best Korean fighting movies.
  6. “The Brotherhood of War” (2004) If you’re a fan of war movies and great fights then you should check out this one of the ten best Korean fighting movies. While the core of the story centers around two Korean solders during the Korean war, there are some excellent fight scenes woven into the sad and heavy story line.
  7. “Art of Fighting” (2006) A black comedy that is part “Karate Kid” and part “Ichi the Killer” this one of the ten best Korean fighting movies, has all of heart that makes a good coming of age movie and all of the violence that makes a good fighting movie worth watching.
  8. “Guns and Talks” (2001) Four hit men, who often act more like a dysfunctional family more than a pack of hired killers, steal the screen with a mixture of dark humor, explosions and killer fight scenes. Watching the four killers with hearts of gold fight their out a series of dangerous jobs is why this is one of the ten best Korean fighting movies.
  9. “Spy Girl” (2004) If you like to watch cute girls kicking high and kicking ass then this one of the ten best Korean fighting movies is sure to get your attention. Sent to bring back a rouge agent, a beautiful young North Korean spy has to brave the dangers of the demilitarized zone and the perils of high school to complete her mission.
  10. “Bloody Ties” (2006) Drugs, corrupt cops, fights and unique executions punctuate this one of the ten best Korean fighting movies. After being framed by the drug dealer they were trying to put away two cops team up again for revenge and a healthy dose of ass kicking.
